The West Bengal Hindi Academy for the benefit of Hindi-speaking people living in the state, according to chairman Vivek Gupta, said that at a news conference at the Siliguri Journalists’ Club on Friday. Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, had given orders to include in the B. Ed. examination, there are Hindi language question – papers. People who only spoke Hindi had to travel to other states to finish their B. Ed. because there’s no option to take the test in Hindi. The state government also recognized a number of Hindi-medium schools. In 2022, the process would start.
