2 December, International Day for the Abolition of Slavery

The International Day for the conclusion of Slavery is widely known, each year, on Gregorian calendar month two. The day is determined to inform United States of America of the evils of enslavement, forced labour, kid labour, and sexual exploitation and trafficking and to eliminate slavery practiced in our time. The International Day for the conclusion of Slavery highlights the history of slavery and why its complete conclusion is critical. Slavery continues to persist nowadays through forced labour, kid labour, trafficking of girls and kids and prohibited organ gathering, among others.

In the last 5 years, there has been a rise in instances of forced labour and made marriages, as noted by the world organization (UN). The international organization mentions that the quantity of contemporary slaves exaggerated to fifty million by the tip of 2021.
