2 swine flu cases in Odisha

Odisha reported two swine flu cases on Friday after more than two years, a health department official said.

He told reporters that two cases were confirmed after their samples tested positive for H1N1 and the hospital said their condition was out of danger.

This official said that the government is fully prepared to deal with the situation.

Also known as swine influenza, the respiratory disease is caused by the H1N1 virus. this virus causes of nasal discharge, cough, loss of appetite and restless behavior.
