Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan conducted DTF meeting at DC’s conference hall, Dimapur on February 4.
According to DIPR report, DC directed concerned departments to identify session sites by following the technical requirements for 2nd phase of vaccination to be conducted on February 9.
He also urged concerned departments on finalising session sites by tying up with CMO office and district immunisation officer by February 5 and to ensure uploading names of beneficiaries at the earliest on or before February 7.
Besides the vaccination team, DC also directed the police, home guards, prisons and other concern departments to ensure that security, law and order and other related issues are taken care of.
In the meeting, district immunisation officer Dimapur, Dr. Rebecca informed that till date, 1116 health workers were vaccinated with no reports of adverse events.
On the wrong information about COVID vaccination doing the rounds, DIO advised District Task Force members to the people in clearing the misconceptions and highlighted on the successful eradication of diseases like polio, small pox etc through mass vaccination.
Dr. Rebecca further encouraged the members to provide the right information to the community in their own respected platform.
