Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma inaugurated the Jio 5G service in Guwahati, Assam. It was inaugurated in a ceremony on Tuesday. Not only Assam, but this service has also been launched in many states.
In addition to the service in the state, Jio has also launched a free WiFi service powered by True 5G for all devotees visiting the Maa Kamakhya temple.
A Jio spokesperson said, “With the blessings of Maa Kamakhya, Jio is launching True 5G services in Assam today. Jio will offer free True 5G-powered Wi-Fi on the temple premises to all devotees visiting the Kamakhya temple.”
Jio also recently released its exclusive 5G recharge voucher worth ₹61 and can be purchased with users’ existing plans and comes with the same validity as existing plans. This voucher offers 6GB 5G data.
