In 1988, the movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak starring Aamir Khan was released. Mr. Perfectionist has expressed his feelings about this film several times. On the one hand, this film laid the foundation of Aamir’s career. On the other hand, this was Aamir’s brother Mansoor Khan’s directorial debut.
Aamir recently shared his memories of this film at an event. He said, “In the beginning, we had no idea whether we would succeed or not. Every time we watched the film, Mansoor and I would find faults and engage in discussions.” But after the release of the film, Aamir mentioned that this film is out of their hands. Because one of the most successful films at the box office that year was ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’.
The film spent 50 weeks in theaters. Aamir has won several awards. Aamir said, “We were overwhelmed by the audience’s love. I believe this film changed the history of Indian cinema. Because the change started in 1988 and Mansoor was the first to do it.”
