ABD Maestro launches three super-premium whiskies in Telangana

ABD Maestro Pvt. Ltd., the super-premium and luxury spirits subsidiary of Allied Blenders & Distillers Limited (ABD), has entered the Telangana market with the launch of three award-winning whisky brands — AODH Irish Whiskey, WOODBURNS Contemporary Rare Indian Whisky and YELLO Designer Whisky. The company, co-founded by Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, unveiled the products at a launch event in Hyderabad on Monday.

The launch marks ABD Maestro’s expansion into Telangana’s growing premium spirits segment, with the company targeting consumers seeking high-quality and craft-driven alcoholic beverages. The three whiskies are now available at leading retail outlets in Hyderabad and will also be served at premium bars and restaurants across the city.

Speaking at the launch, BikramBasu, Managing Director of ABD Maestro, said Telangana, particularly Hyderabad, has emerged as a key market where consumers increasingly prefer premium drinking experiences. He said the three brands offer distinct flavour profiles designed to appeal to evolving consumer preferences and the growing demand for modern luxury spirits.

Among the newly introduced labels, AODH is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey, WOODBURNS is an award-winning Indian whisky that received the Revelation Blended Whisky Award and Grand Gold at the 27th Spirit Selection by ConcoursMondial de Bruxelles 2025, while YELLO is a cross-continental blend of Scotch and Indian malts.

The company said Hyderabad’s vibrant pub, bar and restaurant culture, along with rising demand in cities such as Warangal, Karimnagar and Nizamabad, makes Telangana an important market for its premium portfolio. A 750 ml bottle of AODH is priced at ₹3,470, WOODBURNS at ₹2,500 and YELLO at ₹2,630.
