AdtU offers 100 per cent scholarship for neighbouring countries

For the first time, Assam down town University (AdtU), Northeast India’s best placement-driven university has announced its online Common Scholarship Test for the students of Bhutan in their undergraduate courses. The value of the scholarship will be up to Rs 5-crore. The initiative of providing up to 100 percent scholarships will bridge the gap in attaining accessible and affordable quality education for those countries.


The last date of free-of-cost registration for the online scholarship test for Bhutan is July 28 and the online Common Scholarship Test is on July 30. It is noteworthy that hundreds of students from Bhutan, Nepal, and Bangladesh are currently studying at AdtU. Under this fellowship program, the top 100 students will avail themselves benefits in the test. The benefits will continue till the completion of the course.


Within a short period, AdtU has emerged as the leading centre of learning and research, offering PhD in different disciplines. Not only students from the North East region and other states come to study here but also students from Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and Rwanda, among others have opted the University for their Higher Studies.
The Placement Cell of the university organizes campus placements, and an annual Job Fair for outside job seekers in collaboration with multinational and national corporations and firms such as Amazon, BYJU’s, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, IBM, HCL, Accenture, P&G, Cipla, Nestle, HP, Genpact, Apollo Group, NIMHANS, Taj Chennai, Lemon Tree Group of Hotels, and Radisson Group.
