Amazon Business, which was launched in September 2017, is celebrating its sixth anniversary in India. Over the past six years, it has aimed to revolutionize the way businesses in India buy and sell online. Amazon Business currently serves over 19 crore GST-registered businesses through more than 10 lakh sellers, covering 99.5% of pin codes across the country. It has become a one-stop destination for business buying needs, offering features like requesting quotes for bulk orders and shipping to multiple addresses, accessible through its IOS and Android mobile app.
To mark its sixth anniversary, Amazon Business has integrated with Amazon Pay Later, offering virtual credit to eligible business customers. This integration is part of Amazon Business’s effort to digitize businesses in India and expand credit availability to MSMEs, ensuring a seamless payment experience. With Amazon Pay Later, business customers can sign up digitally and access instant credit, which can be used for various purposes, including bill payments on Amazon.in, purchasing Amazon Pay corporate gift cards, travel, insurance, and more.
Suchit Subhas, Director of Amazon Business, expressed gratitude for the support received from customers and selling partners and highlighted the introduction of Amazon Pay Later as a way to provide customers with greater affordability. As part of its anniversary celebration, Amazon Business is offering attractive discounts and incremental cashbacks to business customers.
