Amazon India and GAME signed a MOU to boost rural women’s entrepreneurship

Amazon India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ‘Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) to promote digital growth of women entrepreneurs in India, especially in Tier-2, Tier-3 cities and beyond. Amazon India is partnering with GAME to support around 25,000 women entrepreneurs and artisans in their digital entrepreneurial journey. The initiative aims to bridge digital marketing skill gaps, provide business capacity building, and enable them to aggregate brands. The goal is to create platform access and financial independence for these rural women entrepreneurs and artisans.

The MOU between Amazon India and GAME aims to co-develop and facilitate broad-based entrepreneurship to accelerate and sustain the growth of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in India. Amazon Karigar & Saheli will provide workshops, training, onboarding, and AM support for sellers without financial investment.

Women entrepreneurs will receive hands-on training on digital marketing, performance marketing, product listing optimization, and advertising techniques. They will also gain data-driven insights on customer behavior and market trends.
