Amazon’s Propel Startup Accelerator Season 3 announces $100K grant winners

Amazon India has announced the triumphant conclusion of its Amazon Global Selling Propel Startup Accelerator Season 3, with Mirana Toys, Avimee Herbal, and Perfora emerging as the standout winners, securing a collective $100,000 grant from the tech giant. Mirana Toys, renowned for its fusion of digital technology with physical play through app-controlled augmented reality games, captivated judges with its innovative approach to smart toys. Avimee Herbal, founded by the venerable 85-year-old Radha Krishna Choudhary, charmed with its time-honored Ayurvedic hair care solutions. Meanwhile, Perfora impressed with its commitment to revolutionizing everyday oral care using clean ingredients and cutting-edge design, earning the distinction of being India’s premier made-safe certified oral health brand.

The third season of the Propel Accelerator, launched in March 2023, witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 1,200 startups and emerging brands from 140 Indian cities vying for recognition. Among the 47 finalists, notable brands like Giva, Mokobara, and Open Secret showcased their potential, with all finalists collectively receiving over $1 million in AWS Activate credits.

Bhupen Wakankar, Director of Global Trade at Amazon India, hailed the entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated by Indian startups, reaffirming Amazon’s commitment to fostering small business growth and facilitating their expansion into global markets. Devansh Sharma, Co-Founder of Mirana Toys, commended the program for providing invaluable guidance, propelling their successful launch on Amazon USA and paving the way for further global expansion.
