Ambulance gets stuck due to ministerial convoy

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Assam for two days, March 8 and 9. An incident of ambulance is alarming in the city, Jorhat, sparking high criticism.

According to the sources, an ambulance with a patient was delayed in the Tarajan area due to high security measures.

To some reports, the Jorhat Police, possibly fearing repercussions from higher authorities, halted the ambulance along with pedestrians for an extended period to ensure smooth passage of the minister’s convoy. Emergency services, including ambulances carrying patients, were obstructed until the ministerial vehicle and convoy passed.
