The Bad Boy Billionaires is an India documentary series about liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya, Subrata Roy of the Sahara group, IT executive Ramalinga Raju and jeweler Nirav Modi that was set for release last month.
A lawyer representing Netflix on Monday said that Netflix has partially released its series, one of the much-awaited series on the Indian tycoons, four tycoons who are facing fraud allegations after a state court lifted an injunction over the weekend. In the Araria district court in Bihar where the Sahara group argued that this step would damage Roy’s reputation. And after this, Nextflix, the world’s largest streaming service decided and suspended the show release after the order from the Ariaria district court. Amit Shrivastava, a lawyer for Netflix late on Saturday said that the court lifted the injunction. Later, he declined in commenting further. And even Netflix didn’t comment yet. The official order is yet to be released.
