Bollywood celebrities Amitabh Bachchan, Sara Ali Khan and her mother Amrita Singh, Kartik Aaryan, bought commercial space in the Signature Building off Veera Desai Road in Oshiwara, where Ajay Devgan and Kajol also acquired property. Big B bought four units and a dozen car parking slots on the 21st floor of Signature Building on September 1 for around Rs 28.74 crore, according to documents accessed through FloorTap.com, a marketplace for commercial properties.
The superstar paid a total of Rs 1.72 crore in stamp duty for the four properties, each with a built-up area of 2,099 sq ft and a carpet area of 1,905 sq ft. Sara Ali Khan and her mother jointly bought a commercial unit. 9 crores on the fourth floor of the same size building.The duo registered the agreement on July 11 paying a stamp duty of Rs 41.01 lakh. Actor Kartik Aaryan bought a property on the same floor as Sara Ali Khan for Rs 10.09 crore.
The transaction was registered on payment of stamp duty of Rs 47.55 lakh on September 4. On July 28, Kajol acquired the property with 2,095 sq ft carpet area in the building for Rs 7.64 crore. Her husband and Singham star Ajay Devgn bought five commercial units (3 on 16th floor and two on 17th floor) with 14 car parking slots for Rs 45.9 crore in April.
