Greaves Electric Mobility has expanded Ampere’s retail and service network in Howrah with the inauguration of two new dealerships, Bikash Bikes Point in Domjur and Krishna Motowinds Pvt Ltd in Shibpur, strengthening access to electric scooters and after-sales support in the region.
The new Ampere Experience Centres will showcase the company’s electric scooter portfolio, including the Ampere Nexus EX+, Magnus GMax, Magnus Neo and Reo Vyb. The Nexus EX+ features a 5 kW motor, while the Magnus GMax and Nexus EX+ offer variants with more than 30 intelligent features powered by Intellipack. The portfolio also features next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology and a standard battery warranty of up to five years or 75,000 km.
Ampere highlighted its vehicles’ endurance and performance, citing the Magnus GMax’s nearly 4,000-km ride from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat in 15 days and the Nexus platform’s rides across Kolli Hills and Shipki La Pass.
In Howrah, the expansion could improve local access to electric two-wheelers, sales assistance and servicing. The dealerships may also help address customer concerns about ownership support as interest in electric mobility grows.
The expansion forms part of Greaves Electric Mobility’s efforts to deepen customer engagement and strengthen Ampere’s presence across key markets.
