On Sunday, Amritpal Singh was brought to Dibrugarh, Assam and currently he is taken to Central Jail. According to the sources, he was brought to Assam in a special flight from Bathinda.
Earlier, Amritpal was arrested by Punjab police from Rode village in the northern state and now he is brought to Assam and kept under tight security.
Nine of his associates are presently lodged at Dibrugarh Central Jail adding Amritpal Singh now. Since March 19, security of jail premises are tightened as members of ‘Waris Punjab De’ (WPD) were brought to the state, Assam.
