Amway India, one of the country’s leading FMCG direct selling companies, launched #AmYoung programme. Starting with the East and West markets, the initiative is aligned with Amway’s 10-year global growth vision of promoting entrepreneurship among youth by enhancing their leadership, business and social selling skills. Also, Amway East announced the next phase of Nari Shakti program in the region. In this phase, Amway aims to reach out to over 400 women direct sellers and support them to unleash the spirit of entrepreneurship through a series of training workshops over a period of 12 months.
Through these initiatives, Amway India will provide comprehensive learning and opportunities to women and millennials to grow their businesses in the ever-evolving social media ecosystem, helping them power their passion and turn it into successful business ventures.
Mr. Chandra Bhushan Chakraborty, Senior Vice-President, East and West Region, Amway India, said, “With project #AmYoung, we are helping our U-35 direct sellers align their skills with the rising business trends. With project #AmYoung, we are creating an accelerated pathway for our young entrepreneurs based on skills and passion, structured training modules with Amway leadership teams. Through programs like #AmYoung and Nari Shakti we aim to give our U-35 and women direct sellers an opportunity to own and operate their businesses while exploring their passions around fitness, healthy living, cooking, or beauty among others.”
Building on the success of the Nari Shakti programme, #AmYoung is centered on enhancing skill sets of young direct sellers, build their knowledge about business practices, product trainings, usage of the various business tools and social commerce.
