Amway India, one of the country’s leading FMCG Direct Selling companies announced the successful completion of the first phase of project Nari Shakti. Launched last year, project Nari Shakti is part of Amway’s 10-year growth vision, with a clear focus on supporting women to unleash the spirit of entrepreneurship. Initiated in the East region, project Nari Shakti is aimed at bringing Amway’s women Direct Sellers to the forefront by enhancing their existing skills to run their Amway businesses independently. The project gave women an opportunity to own and operate their businesses while exploring their passions around fitness, healthy living, cooking, or beauty among others.
In the past few months, Amway India has hosted multiple training sessions and workshops under the project, ranging from best business practices, product trainings to usage of various business tools and social commerce. The project participants were mentored by senior women Amway Direct Sellers from the East region.
Amway initiated project Nari Shakti with select women direct sellers from East India to empower and train them and intends to further extend it to other women direct sellers across regions in the coming months. Over the years, aligned with its core philosophy to empower women by providing them the right platform, Amway India has been consistently investing in upskilling women through multiple online and offline trainings and workshops.
