GUWAHATI: Around 40 percent of the Kaziranga National Park has been inundated by flood waters due to incessant rains.
Despite the park being submerged in water to this extent, no casualties have been reported so far.
Around 2 lakh people have been affected by floods in the state across 9 districts as per Assam State Disaster Management Authority’s (ASDMA) flood report at 5pm on June 25.
Around 40 percent of the Kaziranga National Park has been inundated by floodwaters.
