Arunachal and upper Assam faces waterlog due to heavy rainfall

This year Assam has been facing non-stop rainfall for the first time this year. River Brahmaputra has crossed danger level in Dibrugarh, as per reports.

According to the sources, the river was flowing at 105.72 meters which is against the danger level of 105.70 meters.

Following the rainfall, the streets and areas of the district Dibrugarh are covered with water and low-lying areas of the town were waterlogged.

The rise of water and continues rainfall in the region has caused waterlog problems in the upper Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
