Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu honors the legacy of Bhupen Hazarika

The famous artist Bhupen Hazarika continues to inspire generations because of his influence on the emotional and cultural landscape of the state, according to Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu. Khandu remarked in a heartfelt social media post, “Bhupen Hazarika’s songs brilliantly captured the essence of our state’s breathtaking nature and vibrant culture with his soulful voice and powerful pen.” The group visited the Chief Minister to discuss plans for next year’s celebration of Dr. Hazarika’s 100th birthday.

Khandu said he was thrilled with the centennial celebrations, describing them as a fitting tribute to the great artist’s immense accomplishments. “It was a pleasure to host the delegation from the Bhupen Hazarika Cultural Trust and discuss plans to celebrate his 100th birth anniversary,” he stated. He described the centennial as an opportunity to honor the maestro’s many accomplishments and inspire future generations.
