Arunachal Pradesh reported its first COVID-19 death after a 43-year old woman died due to the deadly virus on Wednesday night.
The woman breathed her last while she was transferred to the COVID health center in Tombo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun.
State Surveillance Officer, L Jampa said that the woman was undergoing hemodialysis and planning for kidney transplant at Delhi. But due to the prevailing situation, the procedure couldn’t be completed and returned to the state on June 11.
