Arunachal Pradesh State Pavilion is opened at the International Trade Fair by Kiren Rijiju

On November 14, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju opened the Arunachal Pradesh State Pavilion at the 43rd India International Trade Fair in Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), New Delhi, alongside Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Trade and Commerce Nyato Dukam. For the first time, Arunachal Pradesh has a state pavilion at the national trade show and exhibition. Twenty business owners from throughout the state are exhibiting at the Arunachal Pradesh State Pavilion. Rijiju commended the Trade and Commerce Department for stepping up to provide Far Eastern business owners with a stage on which to display and sell their goods on a national scale.

The Trade & Commerce Department is helping the entrepreneurs by giving them free exhibition space and setting up their lodging in the nation’s capital, Minister Nyato Dukam said. Participating in the India International Trade Fair will give entrepreneurs exposure on a national level and a chance to network with wholesale and retail buyers, stressed Commissioner of Trade & Commerce Saugat Biswas. The inauguration program was attended by Arunachal Pradesh government officials, including Director of Trade & Commerce Sonyung Modi, Secretary of Horticulture Koj Rinya, Secretary of Trade & Commerce Taru Talo, and Commissioner of Trade & Commerce, Industries, and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Saugat Biswas.
