In a significant step towards a cleaner and greener Arunachal Pradesh, the Raj Bhavan Itanagar has initiated a comprehensive campaign to eliminate single-use plastics from its premises. This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nationwide call to phase out single-use plastics, emphasizing the detrimental impact they have on the environment. The Raj Bhavan, a strong advocate for environmental sustainability, has directed its officials to adopt eco-friendly alternatives such as recycled paper bags, jute bags, and cloth bags.
