In a significant boost to infrastructure, the Arunachal Pradesh government and the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) have jointly allocated ₹100 crore for projects at Parshuram Kund, aiming to make it one of Northeast India’s major pilgrimage sites. Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, during his inspection of the Riverfront Development Site in Lohit district, confirmed that the state and DoNER ministry each contributed ₹50 crore towards this initiative.
