Itanagar, July 25, 2024: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu addressed the media at the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly today, highlighting the stringent penalty clauses in the newly enacted law aimed at curbing paper leaks in public examinations. "According to me, this Act imposes stringent punishments, including a fine of up to ₹1 crore, imprisonment of up to 10 years, and penalties for examinees involved in malpractices. This Act will be instrumental in preventing such malpractices in the future.
