Arunachal Pradesh is set to host the Golden Pagoda Marathon and the Bharat Lok Sangeet – Arunachal Utsav 2025, with preparations in full swing under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein. The Golden Pagoda Marathon, scheduled for February 9, aims to attract athletes and sports enthusiasts from across the globe, celebrating fitness and unity amidst the scenic beauty of Namsai. Simultaneously, the Bharat Lok Sangeet – Arunachal Utsav, running from February 9 to 11, will spotlight the state’s cultural richness.
Folk music, dances, and indigenous traditions will take center stage, promoting Arunachal Pradesh’s vibrant heritage.“These events provide a platform to showcase our state’s unique identity to the world,” said Deputy Chief Minister Mein, emphasizing meticulous planning and the active participation of local youth to ensure success.
Mein highlighted the economic and tourism benefits these initiatives could bring, urging officials to focus on guest accommodations and efficient resource management.
