On Monday, The autumn session of the Assam Legislative Assembly started during which more than 20 bills are expected to be introduced by the government.
As per reports, the session started from 11, September and to continue till 15, September, 2023. Also Speaker Daimary has accepted to all motions from the opposition as suggested by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Assam CM explained for accepting all motions, “It is for the first time that the Assembly is meeting in its permanent hall since the capital of the state moved from Shillong. I don’t want it to start with a walkout.”
