Assam CM to open posts in schools of tea garden

On Wednesday, State Cabinet meeting was held under Chairmanship of Himanta Biswa Sarma. During the meeting the CM discussed about opening post for teachers newly.

The Chief Minister has decided to open 819 teachers’ post in the schools of tea garden areas.

Assam Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah said, “For improvement of the education sector in tea garden areas, the state cabinet has decided to create 819 posts of teachers in 419 tea garden-managed Lower Primary Schools, two tea garden-managed ME Schools and one tea garden-managed High School.”  

Along with it other decision for improving the state with facilities were discussed further.
