Assam govt. orders to keep students hydrated during school hours

Amidst increasing weather temperature in the state, Assam the education department has issued a notification to protect students from the heat wave.

The Elementary Education Department of Assam’s Kamrup Metropolitan District issued a notification which said schools need to ring the water bell three times every day during school hours so the students stay hydrated and remain protected from the scorching heat.

Further, the notification also stated the morning assembly prayer need get to arranged inside the classroom rather than open space under the sun.
