Assam, Mizoram Sign Joint Statement to ‘Maintain Peace’ at Border

The Assam and Mizoram governments held ‘Border Talks’ on August 9 in Aizawl, Mizoram.

High-level delegations from both states signed a joint statement to advance the border dispute settlement process between the two states. Where both states agreed to maintain peace on the border.

Mizoram’s delegation was led by state Home Minister Lal Chamliana, while Assam’s delegation was led by Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister Atul Bora.
