Assam Police and Border Security Force (BSF) arrested one Bangladeshi national while operating a project.
According to sources, the incident took place in South Salmara Mankachar district of Assam. BSF and South Salmara Mankachar District Police forces conducted a joint operation in Kukurmara area of the neighboring district.
Police said, “On info that some contraband drugs were kept hidden in Kukurmara Char area, we conducted search and held a Bangladeshi national. No suspected items found yet.”
