A 47 years old man from Assam’s Cachar district raped a 9-years old girl for multiple times and is now arrested by the Assam Police.
According to the sources, the girl and her family lived next to the accused man and his identity is not yet ascertained by the Police. Further, the accused will be presented to the court on Tuesday.
According to the victim’s mother, “Recently, she has been suffering due to stomach pain, and then her private area began to bleed. We brought her to the hospital, and while she was receiving treatment, she told us the whole story.”
Also Police stated, “The family members claimed that the young girl was sexually assaulted more than once. We will document her account and carry out the required medical examinations.”
The FIR is lodged under IPC 376 AB and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (Pocso) Act.
