Assam to attempt another GUINESS WORLD RECORD

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced about planting one crore trees for the upcoming Amrit Brikshya Andolan for greenery economy in the state.

The CM through a tweet announced, “The ensuing Amrit Brikshya Andolan will herald a tree-based economy in Assam. As part of the exercise, 9 different Guinness World Records will be attempted to be made.”

As per the announcement, the initiative aims at planting one crore trees in a span of just two hours, greener landscape and sustainable economic future for the state. The event is to be held on September 17.

Assam Chief Minister also informed about attempting GUINESS WORLD RECORD through the plantation initiative. Sarma also emphasized that the pursuit of Guinness World Records isn’t the ultimate goal but to serve a healthier and greener economy as trees plays a vital role in sustaining economy.
