At the 46th Mukhyamantri Samipeshu, Tripura CM responds to public complaints

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha made another direct connection with the populace during the 46th session of Mukhyamantri Samipeshu. He addressed a variety of complaints and provided immediate assistance to those in need. People from all around the state came to the Chief Minister’s official residence today to ask for help with matters pertaining to livelihood, land, education, and health. One of the most noteworthy appeals came from Priyam Chowdhury, a Shantirpara student who qualified for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced and earned a spot at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in addition to receiving excellent grades in the Higher Secondary Examination.

However, his family’s ability to pay for his additional education was severely limited. When the chief minister learned of this, he promptly gave his secretary, Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, instructions to take the required actions to guarantee Priyam’s academic career remained unhindered. Another heartfelt plea was made by Chandana Debnath of Champaknagar, Jirania, who requested financial assistance for her daughter’s cardiac treatment after learning that she had two holes in her heart. The Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) had already carried out one surgery, but a lack of funding caused the second treatment to be put on hold. Chief Minister Saha acted quickly and gave officials instructions to use RBSK to make all the arrangements required for the remaining treatment.
