Ayushmann Khurrana shared the teaser of his upcoming film Dream Girl 2 to his Instagram handle on February 13 and captioned it, “Breaking news: @pooja___dreamgirl is back! #7KoSaathMein dekhenge! #DreamGirl2 hits releasing on 7th July (July 3, 2010) )” In the teaser, the actor can be seen wearing a rani pink coloured backless lehenga with beautiful jewelry and makeup. We don’t see her face, but we do see a shot of her bright red lipstick. He is seen flirting with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan on the phone. In Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann will play the role of a girl named Pooja alongside Karam.
Dream Girl 2 traces the journey of Karam (played by Ayushmann Khurrana), a small-town boy who is trying to lead a serious life in Mathura. He falls in love with Pari (played by Ananya Pandey) but life is hell-bent on not taking him seriously. In a turn of events, Karam turns to Pooja which creates more chaos in his already chaotic life. The film is directed by Raj Shandilya and produced by Ekta R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. Apart from Ayushmann, the film also stars Ananya Pandey, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asharani, Vijay Raj, Annu Kapoor, Seema Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee and Manjot Singh.
