Bandhan Bank enters credit card market with four new variants

Bandhan Bank has launched its credit card portfolio in collaboration with Mastercard, introducing four variants—Sparks, Ignite, Flare and Lumina—to cater to different customer segments and spending needs.

The Sparks card offers accelerated rewards on grocery and apparel spending, a welcome bonus, domestic airport lounge access, BookMyShow offers, fuel surcharge waiver and EMI cashback. Ignite provides rewards on grocery and travel spends, welcome and milestone rewards, domestic and international lounge access and EazyDiner benefits. Flare is positioned as a travel-focused card with an Amazon Pay voucher, airport lounge access, entertainment and dining benefits and golf privileges. Lumina, the premium variant, offers enhanced rewards on international spends, an Oberoi gift voucher, lounge access, concierge and airport meet-and-greet services, along with dining, entertainment and golf benefits.

Bandhan Bank MD and CEO ParthaPratimSengupta said the launch marks a significant milestone in the bank’s journey as a universal bank, with a digital-first application and servicing experience.

In Agartala, the launch could expand credit-card options for consumers as digital payments, organised retail, travel and lifestyle spending continue to gain traction. The four-tier portfolio may also appeal to customers with varying spending patterns, from everyday purchases to travel and premium consumption.

Bandhan Bank operates across 35 of India’s 36 states and Union Territories, serving more than 3.2 crore customers through over 6,400 banking outlets.
