Bandhan Bank, the pan-India universal bank, has launched a programme called ‘INSPIRE’, exclusively curated for senior citizens. ‘INSPIRE’ offers the already existing benefits like preferential interest rates, priority banking services and doorstep banking facilities for the senior citizen customers of the Bank. Bandhan Bank is offering attractive interest rates to senior citizens on fixed deposits, with rates up to 8.35% for 500-day tenors and 7.5% p.a. for Tax Saver FDs.
Bandhan Bank’s ‘INSPIRE’ programme offers life care benefits, including discounts on medicines, diagnostic services, and medical treatments. It also provides concessions on doctor consultations, medical check-ups, and dental care through partner healthcare providers.
The bank plans to offer senior citizen customers direct phone banking, dedicated senior citizen desks at branches, and specially trained executives for banking services via mobile app, internet, SMS, and missed call banking.
