Bandhan Bank, announced its financial results for the second quarter of financial year 2022-23. The Bank continued to witness strong business growth, as the operating environment continued becoming more favourable with customer base stands at 2.77 croreas on September 30, 2022, Loan book grew 18% YoY to Rs. 95,835crore, deposits grew 21%YoY to Rs.99,365 crore, CASA growth at 11% YoY, CASA Ratio at 40.8%, Share of Retail to Total Deposits at 74%.
The Bank’s total business grew 19.5% year-on-year to reach around Rs.1,95,200crore as on September 30, 2022. The Bank serves 2.77crore customers through 5646 banking outlets across 34 of the 36 states and union territories in India. The total number of employees working 64,000. Capital Adequacy Ratio is at19.4%, much higher than the regulatory requirement. Bandhan Bank is planning to open more than 550 new branches across India, in this financial year.
