Bandhan Bank strengthens corporate banking presence with BKC branch launch

Bandhan Bank has expanded its corporate banking footprint with the inauguration of a dedicated Corporate Banking Branch at BandraKurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai, a move aimed at strengthening its services for corporate and institutional clients in India’s financial capital.

The branch, located at INS Tower in BKC, was inaugurated by ParthaPratimSengupta, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bandhan Bank, in the presence of Rajinder Kumar Babbar, Executive Director and Chief Business Officer, Ratan Kumar Kesh, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, Satish Kumar, Head of Wholesale Banking, and other senior officials.

According to the bank, the specialised branch will exclusively cater to large corporates, mid-sized enterprises and institutional clients by offering customised financial solutions and end-to-end banking services. The facility will also function as a hub for relationship management, structured finance and sector-specific advisory services, enabling faster and more focused support for corporate customers.

Speaking at the launch, Sengupta said the new branch reflects the bank’s strategic focus on expanding its corporate banking franchise and delivering relationship-led, innovative and flexible banking solutions to customers.

In Agartala, the expansion is expected to reinforce confidence among businesses in Tripura and the Northeast that increasingly engage with national financial institutions for credit, trade finance and expansion plans. Industry observers believe a stronger corporate banking network can support growing business linkages between the region and major commercial centres such as Mumbai.

Bandhan Bank currently operates in 35 of India’s 36 states and Union Territories, serving more than 3.2 crore customers through a network of over 6,380 banking outlets. The launch underscores the bank’s efforts to diversify its offerings and strengthen its position as a full-service lender serving both retail and corporate customers.
