Bangladeshi smuggler injured in firing of BSF

A Bangladeshi smuggler was injured by BSF firing while smuggling cattle at the border. The incident took place in the Chongar Khata Khagribari area of ​​Bairagirhat village panchayat of Block No. 1 of Mathabhanga. The incident has spread sensation in the border area.

It is come to know that a smuggler’s group of about 10 people gathered in the border area of ​​Chongarkhata Khagribari for the purpose of smuggling cows. And at that time, when the smuggling was stopped, the smugglers attacked the BSF. According to BSF sources, when the BSF jawans fired in self-defense, the smugglers fled, but one of the smugglers was injured in the leg.

The injured trafficker was rescued and brought to the Mathabhanga sub-district hospital. As the condition of the injured trafficker is in critical condition, he was referred to the Cooch Behar Medical College after first aid treatment.
