Baramulla grenade attack, arrested

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists and a terrorist associate within 48 hours of the Baramulla liquor shop grenade attack incident.

On May 17, a burqa-clad terrorist lobbed a grenade at a newly opened liquor store in Baramulla’s Dewan Bagh.

On May 17, a burqa-clad terrorist hurled a grenade at a newly opened liquor shop in Baramulla’s Dewan Bagh.

“CCTV footage from nearby cameras was also obtained which helped reconstruct the sequence of events before and after the incident. Based on human and technical intelligence, a few suspects were picked up and interrogated,” he said.
