Due to the ‘forbidden’ BBC documentary screening attempt, DU bans the NSUI leader and another student for a year.
For reportedly attending a BBC documentary showing of the Godhra riots on campus, Delhi University has suspended two students, including the leader of the Congress students wing, for a year, a top official said.
According to the memo dated March 10, students will not be permitted to appear for any departmental, university, or college exams during this time.
According to the source, six further students who were allegedly involved in the event on January 27 received “less strict” punishments. But, the official also hinted that there may be additional pupils involved.
