Assam DGP State Crime meeting was held at Assam Police Headquarters on Thursday in view of the discussion on meeting the crime rate etc. in the state. all extra. The Superintendent of Police, crime in charge of various districts, DCP (crime) and all range officers were present at the conference.
The DGP said that from next month there would be a review crime meeting and the best-performing districts would be identified and rewarded.
During the meeting, the DGP reviewed issues like crime parameters of the districts, investigation of child marriage cases, pending cases etc. He directed all the districts to complete child marriage cases at the earliest, investigate NDPS Act cases on time and trace the absconding accused.
Also a detailed presentation was made on various crime parameters and best performing districts. This is the second crime meeting in the state.
