‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, The Assam Congress reaches Guwahati on Thrusday. The march is also joined by Raijor dal which is the opposition party.
Reports said, more than 500 people joined the march.
All India Congress Committee general secretary Jitendra Singh, state Congress presidents of Assam, Sikkim and Manipur, former Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Navam Tuki and other leaders took part in the 8-km march through city streets, sources said.
Other opposition parties and prominent citizens of the state will also join the rally on Friday, which has already passed through Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma’s Jalukbari constituency on Wednesday.
