Raj Bhavan in Guwahati has officially been renamed to ‘Lok Bhavan, Assam’. This change follows a resolution made during the Governors’ Conference in 2024 and a subsequent directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs, detailed in Memo No.7/10/2025 (Part)-M&G dated November 25, 2025.
