BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on Friday wrote an open letter to Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan seeks an investigation into Kolkata vaccine scam.In the letter, Adhikari charged that the Kolkata vaccine fraud would not have taken place without the knowledge of local police and authorities.
He wrote the major question is were this shots really the covishiled?If these not then we should take immidiate action against this.
The main person behind this case was earlier arrested for allegedly posing as an IAS officer and organised a COVID-19 vaccination camp in the city’s Kasba area, where the actor Mimi Chakroborty had also got the vaccine.
The Bhartiya Janta Party then demanded a CBI probe about the matter. BJP’s General Secretary Sayantan Basu said that the probe is underway but the fact the this case requires CBI investigation.In this letter Suvendu Adhikari pointed out West Bengals failure to comapre with other states in terms of vaccination.
Adhikari claimed that a transparent investigation into the matter without the state government’s influence is extremely important to restore the covid vaccination process in West Bengal.
