BJP to celebrate two years of governance in Tripura with J.P. Nadda’s rally

The BJP-led government in Tripura is set to celebrate its second anniversary with a grand rally at Swami Vivekananda ground on March 9, where BJP national president J.P. Nadda will address party workers and the public. BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee announced the event, stating that Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and other senior leaders will highlight the government’s achievements over the past two years. A nine-member committee led by senior minister Ratan Lal Nath has been formed to ensure the rally’s success.

Bhattacharjee emphasized the state government’s efforts to combat crime, particularly under the NDPS Act, revealing that 4,276 people were arrested in 2,308 cases between 2020 and 2024. He also noted that the BJP plans to organize similar rallies at district and booth levels to showcase its governance.

Dr. Manik Saha has been leading the state since March 8, 2023, after securing a second term as Chief Minister. The upcoming event will serve as a platform for the BJP to consolidate its position and connect with the people of Tripura.
