Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), in partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), C-DOT, and Tejas Networks, has launched the Bharat Telecom Stack, India’s first fully indigenous 4G network. The rollout, which brings connectivity to 26,700 additional villages, is expected to stimulate economic activity, strengthen digital infrastructure, and support the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision. Executed as a mission-mode project over two years, the network integrates C-DOT’s EPC core applications, Tejas’ base stations and radio infrastructure across 100,000 sites, and TCS’ Cognitive Network Operations platform for real-time 24/7 management.
