Bollywood star Akshay Kumar beats Will Smith, Jackie Chan to clinch spot on world’s highest-paid male actors of 2020
Akshay Kumar has beaten his Bollywood contemporaries to become the only Bollywood actor to feature among the top-10 of Forbes’ highest-paid male actors of 2020.
Although the star has had no film releases this year, Akki landed the sixth spot with earnings of $48.5 million.
According to the report, most of his income came from product endorsements.
The actor’s cop-flick ‘Sooryavanshi’ was slated for an April release, but got postponed due to the COVID-induced lockdown. Besides the Rohit Shetty directorial, the actor has films like ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Bell Bottom’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Atrangi Re’ and ‘Hera Pheri 3’ in the various stages of production.
